Michael Bay on 'Transformers 4': 'Studio's are Passing Gossips but I am Unsure What I am Doing?'

Viggo Mortensen is really a superstar -- a title he doesn't appear to consider everything seriously. Simply because he was within the greatest-grossing film series ever (the 'Lord from the Rings' trilogy) does not mean he needs to do the other Hollywood stars do. He washes their own dishes. He discusses dying and Russian poetry. He once authored a script for any quiet movie set 1,000 years previously and delivered to Leonardo DiCaprio (he switched it lower). These are merely a couple of from the information visitors can gain knowledge from the cover story within this week's T Magazine, appropriately entitled 'Viggo Talks and Talks.' So! What were a few of the highlight quotes of the feature article? Let us examine. Viggo's ideas on dying and understanding "'I'm not scared of dying,' he stated, wiping lower a counter having a moist cloth, 'but I resent it. I believe it's unfair and irritating. Each time I see something beautiful, I not simply want to go back to it, however it makes me need to see other beautiful things. I understand I am not getting to any or all the places I wish to go. I am not likely to read all of the books I wish to read ... There is a limit ... I am talking about, I realize limits are great for character and all sorts of that, however i prefer to live forever.'" The author on Viggo's very unsexy laugh "Younger crowd has, for which it's worth, among the oddest and unsexiest laughs in the usa: a type of abrupt, feminine cackle that's liable to help you jump if you are not expecting it." The author on Viggo's dish-washing capabilities "The counter being clean now, Mortensen washed out his cloth and switched his focus on the dirty dishes. (The reporter should have offered some assistance at this time, but the view of Aragorn together with his hands inside a sinkful of Fairy Liquid was too beguiling: readers, she sitting back and viewed.)" Viggo on his distaste of hotels "But when the hired day folded around, Mortensen had moved from the Ritz-Carlton. Existence, he stated, was way too short to remain in a 'prison' in which you could not open the home windows and in which the lobby was always filled with industry people." Viggo (kind of) making clear his earlier ideas on dying "'I know I stated I needed to reside forever and that i would not be bored, but the truth is, it's most likely type of sad to reside forever if you are the only person adhering around. I suppose coping with injuries and disease is fairly hard too, so I'm not sure -- maybe growing old isn't this type of great factor ... Anyway, whatever, I'm not sure if some of this matters. However I you know what I am saying is, I'd be satisfied with another 150 years.'" Clearly, Viggo isn't your typical A-lister. This should not come like a surprise -- in the end, he's starred in three David Cronenberg movies -- but his genuine bizarreness is unquestionably refreshing.
